1975 Topps Mini Pack Rip (2 Packs) +1 2013 Topps Football

Finally, I am going to rip these tonight. Got these around 2008 from BBCE before the Conlon collection hit REA and part of a group of packs.
These two were not that great looking as you can see. May cpamike forgive me!

Then I will open this too for the heck of it!

I knew there was a reason for the extreme temperatures and snow in Tennessee! ! This is the second sign foretelling Armegeddon and the Book of Revelations!

I think I may have only ripped two other packs ever unless you count 1976 when I was a kid.

I am a novice at this and I already just stacked the two packs together and didn't write nothing down.....heehee....
I am no grote when it comes to ripping but I did grab some cardsavers for the drill.

It already looks like bad luck is with me. I got Carlton Fisk as a gum card. Bummer!

Tony, stop gazing at the Phillies team card and scan it! LOL!

    No Schmidt...not one Phillie.

This might be a good lesson on why I should not rip vintage packs.

Only a handful of cards even worth scanning.

Cedeno is a super tough card.

That is all. I think. I got a sort of OC tope to bottom Bob Gritch. A got a gigantic mini Al Oliver. It is much larger than the others. The the few others are either OC
or if not OC have corner dings. Just my luck.

Fairly looks good and that is a tougher card.

i love seeing these old pack rips! even when you dont hit the star or low pop cards , the thrill of the rip is always priceless! thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys. I must say this was a lot of fun. I don't submit cards for grading like I used to but will keep a
few of these aside. Appreciate the comments. It was nice to read and felt like I had group participation.

I think I'll add the ones that did not make the cut to the three hundred extras I have from CU board buys and
raw pickups. Maybe I'll put a raw set together for set #2.

Also, just checked the stash and found 6 other potential busters some day. The packs were all from BBCE
and there are decent tears in them. This is addictive. That is for sure. image

Somebody needs to bust some packs!

Two inserts from the pack. Favre and Johnson both have bottom left corner edge wear. Just our luck. The Johnson is more noticeable.
Still a fun rip for us.

Nice rips. Enjoyed them. What's the TN reference? Is Aconte from Tn?

    Thanks,

This is how it all starts. I looked the other way this time, but next time I think I'll have to make a trip over the bridge to stop you from falling off the deep end. image

    lol...

Let me know when you decide to make the trip and I'll have Gov. Christie adjust the traffic over the bridge.

Both Gross and Fairly look submittable, imo. The Chicken is a super tough card, a PSA 8 is a $75 card, so that one is worth sending in, too.

    Thanx Tony.

The Fred Stanley took me back to my days of going to Yankee Stadium - the bleachers - and Reggie!

Ya gave us all some nice entertainment.
