I lost a friend recently.
He was a patient who was a PGA golf instructor.
My receptionist called to get him back in and we got the bad news from his daughter.
He had tried to teach my wife to play golf but she just didn't practice - he had the patience of a saint.
It's sad for me - he was a good person and a pleasure to have as a patient.
Lee attended Trinity College - played both basketball and golf. He was proud of his time with Andy North and tried to attend the Masters as often as he could. Lee and is wife Jane have been patients of mine since 2000. They were married for 58 years.
Goodbye my friend.
SAN ANTONIO —Lee Milligan, a golf instructor best known for working with two-time U.S. Open champion Andy North, died Monday from complications after suffering a spinal injury. He was 81.

Thanks for the story. I'm sure he was thrilled when Andy finally bagged a major.
Gotta love those 1970s plaid pants in the first picture.
Sounds like one heck of a guy. World needs more like that.
