A PGA Loss - This is a tribute to one of the little guys who get little or no attention

I lost a friend recently.

He was a patient who was a PGA golf instructor.

My receptionist called to get him back in and we got the bad news from his daughter.

He had tried to teach my wife to play golf but she just didn't practice - he had the patience of a saint.

It's sad for me - he was a good person and a pleasure to have as a patient.

Lee attended Trinity College - played both basketball and golf. He was proud of his time with Andy North and tried to attend the Masters as often as he could. Lee and is wife Jane have been patients of mine since 2000. They were married for 58 years.

quote from North: “He was one of the special people in my life,” North said. “He was one of the truly great people. He made everybody feel better around him.
