I suggest to getting it graded then charge an 8.5 price...looks like a wrinkle on back.

Spend the $$$ to get this graded...saves you the trouble.

I tried to PM him to tell him he is quite high with his asking but he is MIA.

You can get 8.5's for close to this price and this Jordan is not that. Maybe a 6?

They have 3 posts and haven't come back to respond to any of this. I wouldn't touch this card with a $100 bill image, let alone 12 of them.

Agree that this looks to be in the PSA 5/6 range.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

    Hi,

    I didn't get a PM

  • << <i>Top right corner on backside looks kind of bent?? >>

Yes, it's got a small ding

  • << <i>Any description of condition? >>

I'm not experienced in describing these cards, therefore I won't attempt it, don't want to misinform, hence the quality scans/photos.

Didn't receive any PM's from you, sorry.

I believe the grading system to be rigged, I wouldn't trust a grading company. Just my personal opinion, there are plenty of grading publications out that can help one grade an card/coin/comic etc.

Sorry you feel this way, man. I haven't received ANY PM's. Didn't know I had to be an senior "poster" to trade/sell/buy. I'd post this card on eBay, but if you've ever tried posting an MJ Rookie Card there, you know what kind of BS goes on...
  • I'm not involved in this, but make sure your private messages are turned on. To check this setting, you can go to Profile and you should see 'Allow Private Messages'. Thanks and good luck.

I don't mean to offend anyone with my "attitude". I'm sure we all know collectors who feel the same way. Since when do we need the PSA/JSA etc. to confirm what a quality card looks like? If you choose to only collect slabbed cards, more power to you. If you feel comfortable in grading & purchasing a card that's not slabbed good for you as well.

The bottom line is that you are newer here and have just a few posts, so no one really knows you. That, with the fact that you are trying to sell one of the most counterfeited cards in the hobby ungraded, unauthenticated, and overpriced for the apparent condition.. hurts your chances of success. Those are just the facts. Good luck.

I would strongly advise ANY high dollar card (especially one that is like the 1952 Topps Mantle of basketball) get PSAed first. No one is going to take a chance on such an expensive raw card...or at least they shouldn't. No offense.

+1 there. I wouldn't even consider a Jordan RC, Fleer or the XRC Star, unless they were graded. Risk-reward ain't worth it.

If nothing else but to be sure it's a real card and hasn't been compromised in anyway (trimmed, retouched, etc).
