Shout out to Al (bishop)

I just wanted to thank Al (bishop) for his generosity. He had a full set of over 200 horse racing jockey cards laying around and offered them up for shipping only. There were no takers right away, so I contacted him since a business associate is an ex-jockey. So big shout out to Al for allowing me to put a smile on a friend's face early in this New Year!

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

Al (bishop) has my respect as well. I'll never forget his willingness to trade me his 1954 Topps/Canadian Ed Mathews (grey back) card (one that I will never sell). Took me a very long while to find one.

Super great guy and super great gesture.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
