Are the desert shield cards inserted randomly in the regular 91 topps packs as insert cards?

    Quick answer: Nope, the whole pack will be desert shield cards. It was a separate print run with the boxes being sent to military bases. The problem is there is no way to tell if it's the regular or desert shield boxpack. Your best bet is to buy from BBCE.

    They're still around but will cost ya. I agree - check with BBCEx.

    I wish we had held on but back in the day - shops were buying for 30 bucks a pack - which was righteous bucks back then.

    Of humorous interest - while we were ramping up, I guess supplies were being made by companies all over the place. I went into the latrine and found an item that was just too funny and saved one - what do ya think?
