Haven't thought about this card in a long time. Still collecting in 1992, I remember how sought after these Elites were when the packs first came out, and the Thomas was the card to get in the set. The Diamond kings were also really nice in this set. Of course, every year was something new and better and as a result sets like these would be out of collector's minds quickly...but for a brief period of time, this was THE card to get

I just busted a case of Series 2 this week (on Monday and Tuesday nights) in a futile hunt to finally pull an Elite from a pack. I was hoping the rumor of one-ish Elite card per case held true.

No dice.

All I have to show for it is bloodshot eyes and two 5,000 count boxes filled to the brim with 1992 Donruss kindling.

The Diamond Kings are nice though, I'll probably send some of those off to Newport Beach.

So long Fantasy Football winnings, it was still worth it.

I only got a PSA 9 on it, though I think it'll bump one day, but it's the best '92 Elite there is!
