1st PSA submission : Nolan Ryan RC SCANS Added

Hi everyone

I just noticed that my credit card was pending a charge from PSA.

So I logged in and saw that my card had a PSA 7 grade and SN.

This was sent in as a crossover in the SGC 7.5 case with a min grade 7 on 12/31/2013.

A 7.5 would have been nice but I am happy with a 7.

Experience want too bad. I thought it was going to take longer.

Very happy that my registry set is complete but I am going to pay some bills down and start my hunt for an 8 or 8.5.

    Good luck in your search for the 8, remember the value of that 7 and the $$ you'll have towards the 8 if you sell it, it would be a great start. image

    Yeah, but it will still be the same card.

    Its amazing how inconsistant TPGing and their labels can make someone suddenly like a card
    more than they previously did.

    Oh, I forgot its all about the label and the money, not the card.

    Thats a fantastic card. Congratulations and enjoy the 7. Ask yourself why would I want a 8 am I competing for registry spots. If not keep this card and enjoy it. The only difference between this and a 8 is corner wear if I was to guess.

    Nice centering.

    Try leaving the lid up on the scanner and dimming the room lights - the scans will be sharper.

    I am on the registry , and want to move up on this set. So I will be hunting down an 8.

    Even when I get an 8 I do not plan on selling this card as soon as I get it. I always wanted one of these and what would be better than having 2 ?

    Either way this collection is for my now 6 month old son when he gets older. In addition to the Ryan collection I have a couple of common 1910 T206 cards for him. A The plan is to build up a collection of some of the best cards / players ever.
    For example Jordan Rookie PSA 9 .. any 1933 Babe Ruth Goudey. Hopefully this will help fuel his interest in history and appreciation for cool collectibles.
