Ever go through a stack of what you bought and sratch your head wondering why?

It's a snow day and 7-8 varying stacks of cards are getting organized. Mostly 1971 Topps. And then there were these. 18 in total purchased throughout the year.

I didn't buy any other cards issued in 2013 except this one. I don't have a big connection to Mr. Podres although he was my very first "Old Card" when I started collecting over 30 years ago. 1955 Topps and it's long gone. While I do not recall a conscious effort to corner the mini autograph market it is more than a coincidence that I would routinely search and purchase. I reckon this is a fine enough homage.

The worst purchase I made was an 89 topps Tiffany Ken Griffey jr. Rc graded sgc 7. Wasted about $30 on it.
