Batters box.... Anyone ever pull anything that graded high?

The recent thread about raw sellers on eBay and batters box name kept coming up. I only have bought from them on a few occasions awhile ago and thought they over graded by a at least one grade, most times it was two grades. The customer service and shipping was top notch though. As I previously stated, I hadn't bought from them in quite some time and was wondering if they still over grade or if they have figured out how to properly grade a card. I would like to add them again to my raw eBay buyer list again. Thanks for the responses in advance.

I've never had an issue with them over grading. My purchases from them have mainly been NM 72s; many would probably be NM-MT. So in my experience, they seem to have undergraded a tad. No complaints.

    Probably at least five years.

I buy lots of raw from Batters Box and have been very pleased with them.

<< <i>5 years ago, you could still find quality raw cards from them. Then they started trying to extract every last penny from every piece of cardboard in their inventory, and that went out the window. >>

I obviously cannot speak to that but it does appear they may have changed ownership since I last purchased. I still get their catalogs.

I've been pretty happy with the cards I've ordered from them. I have had a couple with minor creasing/wrinkles that were not disclosed, especially on the backs on a few they deemed EX-MT.

Every raw card I ever bought from them always graded one or two grades below when sent to PSA. I gave up. But they are nice people.

I used to have great success with tripleplayvintage. Customer service was very good if I ever had a problem. Now they seem to over grade more than not.
