Impressive--he doesn't quit, and quick, too! Their best back since Ahman Green.

Green fumbled all the time...Lacy is much better after contact...and aside from week 1, holds onto the football. Love his running style.

Great guy..Alabama truly missed him this year...only drawback he is very injury prone...turf toe hindered him a lot at bama.

Green was prone to fumbling, especially earlier in his career, but he also gained over 11,000 yards from scrimmage and scored 68 TDs in 8 seasons in a packer uniform, so it's a bit early to compare the two and declare Lacy as the better back.

Tough loss. At the end of the day, GB has to punch it in on that last drive and they could not.

Oh man do I love Eddie Lacy. Alabama fans and now Green Bay fans have started calling him the "Circle Button" for his constant spin move to get him yardage. Please spread that nickname. It's a great one.

Three things cost the Pack tonight.

    1) James Jones had three balls to him in the numbers and didn't make any of em. He was covered, but Rodgers gave him opportunities. If one of those were caught, it's a different game.
    2) Sam Shields going out early, followed by Mike Neal, both with knee injuries.
    3) Playcalling. I wonder if sometimes Mike McCarthy overthinks and outsmarts himself. First and goal and they give the ball to Randall Cobb?!?! I love Randall Cobb, I'm wearing his jersey right now, but Lacy is a BEAST. I know that asthma slows him down in cold weather, and that may have been the case here. Then give it to Starks. Don't fix something that's not broken. A touchdown there and who knows how the Niners respond.

It hurts to see teams beat up the team you love so much. I dealt with the Cowboys in the 90's, and lately it's the Giants and the Niners. Can't stand either of them. More than the Bears, even. Capers should be gone, and Ted Thompson needs to spend the bulk of his picks on the O-Line and Defense. I understand his philosophy, but I wish he would get one or two FA's. That money could bring Green Bay a few more rings in the immediate future. I'd really hate to see Rodgers end up with only one. IMO he's better than every other QB in the league right now, with the exception of maybe Peyton Manning.
