Unlike stown/galaxy, dimeman, cnote and soundgard I know how to be objective and use reason.

So who here is going to make the argument that the Chiefs were the real winners tonight because their QB had a higher rating and were in the lead for 55 out of 60 minutes?

<< <i>Actually, much like Romo, Alex Smith knows firsthand now what it means to put up great stats, do all you can to win a game just to see your defense hand the game over. Bottom line: you cannot win, especially in the playoffs, if you can't stop the other team from scoring. >>

<< <i>What a choke job by KC--credit the Colts, they never quit, haven't done so all season. >>
That aint helping my theropy sessions
Did Andrew Luck blow a game like Romo ?
What's your point ? LOL

No, he had the KC defense bail him out.

Except for the time he recovered a fumble and punched it in. That was really impressive.

Agreed. He was in the right place at the right time and made a heads up play.
I definitely give credit to Luck and the Colts--despite the 3 picks, he kept fighting back and made the plays when he needed to make them down the stretch. But without the putrid play of the KC D in the second half, no way Indy pulls this game out.
Bottom line, the KC defense was vastly overrated in the first half of the season, due in large part to a ridiculously soft schedule. Despite all that, and despite losing BY FAR their best player in the 1st quarter of the game, they came within 1 point (and one half-step down the sidelines) of winning. It'll be a long winter for KC fans.
