I just about fell out of my chair!
After 3 years of consistent searching, Jackpot!
I haven't been this excited in a long time, sometimes smaller victories mean more than the high dollar stuff.
Just crazy I tell you.

Dynamite!!!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Is the "2" bat version a lot more rare?

Thanks all!
Holding 2 bats is the only version, each player in the 36 card set has their own pose.
I'm a believer that Bazooka collectors hold onto their cards as it rarely comes into the market.
2014 has been good to me so far.

I have to agree with you. I have been able to find almost every item I need for my Harmon Killebrew Master set, including almost all of the Topps test issues. However I am still missing some Bazooka panels.
You would think with a much smaller "set" and being able to see the cards you will be getting, there would be quite a few on the market, but I have found them the MOST difficult to obtain.

Great looking card! Was really hard to find Bazooka's when I was working on master sets. Drove me crazy!
Is there a reason as to why they added the variation " Holding Two Bats" to the flip? Looking at the pop report, some cards from this set have extra info under variety and some don't. If it's the only version, wouldn't it make more sense to just stop at "Hand Cut"?

Oddity,
First off thank you, this is certainly one of my favorite cards from the Bazooka set.
As for the variations, I am almost %99 certain that the different poses are what distinguishes a card from year to year in the Bazooka set.
A lot of these players are designated with the same card number (i.e. card 14 of 35) from year to year.
Kind of makes sense since Bazooka did not label these cards/panels with a year.
I guess it still does not explain why PSA has to label the flips with the pose, I have no real guess.
If one day I find out there are multiple poses for each player for a single year issue of Bazooka, I will flip out.
I couldnt handle the added stress that comes with collecting these Bazooka's.

<< <i>Very nice! All Bazookas are tuff in those 8-9 grades. Good job, where did you find it? >>
Popped up on the bay of all places, caught it on the 2nd day after it was listed and already had a couple "watchers".
I am thankful for the opportunity.

<< <i>So what's the story? Found it graded? Found it connected so cut it and submitted it? Someone help locate?
Congrats! Breathe >>
Thanks, it came already graded, it was like a new years present that fell upon me from the baseball card collecting heaven's.

That makes a lot of sense (and was very observant). In the Pop report, the players listed with a variation were mostly the more popular players that would likely be in multiple year sets. Not sure if that is the real reason, but very plausible. I really don't feel like comparing checklists for multiple years of these, though.
I've always liked the Bazooka cards and would like to start a collection of them, but between the price of them and the lack of availability, I would never be able to stick to it.
