I'm tired of this trade rumor talk. I think the Mets should give Ike another year to turn it around. He does have home run power. Am I the only one who thinks this way?

    Never going to hit for average. Extremely high K/BB ratio. One trick pony and average fielder. Barring a miracle, his major league career may be short lived.

    Frankly, I'd be surprised if he returns anything of real value in a trade. He has regressed since his debut and his only asset is his power, which essentially disappeared for long stretches last season, along with his ability to get a base hit. An OBP % over last two seasons of about .315 for a corner infielder? SLG % of .334 last season? That's pitiful. I hope the Mets don't plan on bringing him back at all, frankly.
