GRRR, i got sniped on my auction, best lot ive seen in a while

550 Barry Sanders cards. I had winning bid of $52 until last minute, i had proxy bid at $54, but guy sniped and won for $55 with only a few seconds left. sweet lot though, many inserts, and a couple rcs too i think. DAMN, i hate snipers, but yet im a sniper image

    hehe.. that's why I snipe with 2-3 seconds left. image That's why it's called "sniping". You only get 1 shot.

    and i normally snipe with about 15 seconds left, that way i can raise my bid, but the other guy wont have time too.

    Maybe base cards (Finest, SP Authentic, UD Encore, etc.) with about 14 inserts (the UD Quantum Bronze is #'d to 2300 I believe). BV is around $450. There are some oddball cards. I just went through my cards and pulled out every Jordan card I own. And as I found more, I just added them to the lot. It's at least $400+ BV and I've added like 10-12 more cards since then. Selling for $45 dlvd.

    Why not wait til 4 seconds and bid your absolute max? If you bid 15 second left and someone snipes it at 2-3 seconds, what you going to do then?

    Bidding before 10 seconds of the auctions end is just pushing up the price for you if you really want the card, its not card related but check out this snipe.

    WOW, now THATS a snipe! Someone bid with 6 seconds yet someone topped him with 1 second left. Sweet. But whats even better than being that sniper is being that seller. Its great to sit there and watch a card sit at $40 and then all of a sudden in 30 seconds it goes up to $55 (happened to me once). That is the coolest thing. Although its really disappointing when the card isnt up to what you thought it would be and you expect a snipe to come in and it doesn't. That really sucks.

    Hey...I snipe with 1 second left. It's always fun doing that, especially when they email you and complain about it....hahahaha.
