A while back, I asked the forum for any opinions on some coins I had for my free submissions with NGC and PCGS. Well, I now have the results.

Here are the results from PCGS:

All are "BN" except the 1/2 Crown. It is super cool blue.

Italy 1919 10 Centesimi XF40 ... thought 40
China 1901 5 Cash Y-158 "Eive" XF45 ... thought 45, outside shot at AU
China 1909 Fengtien 20 Cash Y-21e XF45 ... thought absolute minimum worst day ever AU, hoping for 55, oh well

Here are the results from NGC:

Ireland 1689 1/2 Crown VF30 ... Thought it was XF, I was wrong
Ireland 1931 1/2 Crown XF45 ... Didn't know, hoped for XF
Ireland 1943 1/2 Crown F15 ... Thought VG 8-10
Ireland 1804 6 Shillings Tn AU Details-Surface hairlines ... Thought same, it's a neat coin struck over a 1794 Mexico 8 Reales
Brazil 1900 1000 Reis AU Details-Surface hairlines ... Thought same


I am pleased with the grades because I feel like I was in the ball park on almost all of them. I was only disappointed with the 20 cash piece, but i will re-examine it and see if I can objectively see an XF grade. I felt like the 1900's 1/2 Crowns were the toughest to put an absolute grade on. They have pretty simple designs but some small details that need to be examined closely.
