Here is another piece of chinese cash. Zhi Yuan tong bao or Zhi Dao yuan bao?

My initial reading of this coin is that it was 19.82. Further research tells me it is 16.35.





What a difference a couple of small strokes make.


Roughly 4.3 grams, 25.3 Millimeters

Reverse has matching rims but no characters or symbols.

I only have my Jen reference, but this coin appears to be a perfect match to Zhi Dao, S-466 / FD-872.

It is Zhi Dao. It was in a group of Yuan Dynasty coins and I quickly went to that section and ignored the slight difference (to me) in characters. When I saw that it was extremely rare, I knew something was wrong. Upon further examination, I realized it was, in fact, Zhi Dao.
