3/4 of the way through 75 Topps Baseball

Yesterday I made it to the "3/4 of the way thru" marker on putting together the 75 topps baseball set. It's raw and many of the cards are poor - good. It's the first set I've put together in a long time. It always seems when I get to this point I throw in the towel, but for some reason I need no motivation on this one.

Nice work. That is one of my favorite sets. When is your completion goal, 2014 ?
I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid.

    Just curious
If you only need low grade cards, aren't those all over eBay for real cheap?

Always been my favorite set of the 70s in which I rarely dabble in these days but would always be in the market for a very high grade raw mini set.

This thread makes zero sense to me but good luck in finishing your 1975 Topps set in poor to good condition.
Looking for high grade rookie cards and unopened boxes/cases

I am also putting the set together. I am about halfway though and using the dealers at my local shops and shows. I am just about finished up witht he 72 set as well. I need about 20 more high numbers which I hope to find at the white plains show in January. I am having alot of fuin tracking down the cards I need and marking them off of my list. Once I finish the set I probably will never look at it again. It is more of the thrill of the hunt. I am trying to finish the set in nea rmint ot mint condition though.

My other project which will take me years is to complete the 1960 set all by trading. So far I have completed 379/572 cards and have only spent $15.00 dollars on it so far. These cards I will get in any condition since I don't want to pay but only trade.

I have a few hundred '75s in nice shape (centering varies) which I have offered to the OP twice now with no response. If anyone needs help with commons I am happy to help at a reasonable price.

I did the same. But maybe that takes some of the fun out of the hunt. Regardless, good luck with your set build!
