  • Yeah, nice price on it. Looks like an amazing card.
Is that one of top prices ever for 72 PSA 10?
1972 football is such a nice looking set.

    My thoughts EXACTLY!
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

Agreed ... that's why I said the seller has to be happy with the price. Personally, I think it is CRAZY to pay that kind of money when you can get a 9 for so much less. HOWEVER, for many of the people that spend that type of money on TENS, it's just a drop in the bucket for them.

  • The guy who consigned that can spend that on a bottle of wine without blinking an eye.

Probably just like the guy that bought it.

UI think the consignor paid more than that for it the first time around. he did double his money on the havlicek. don't think the money was really an issue either way

I'm pretty sure the consignor bought it in the Fall 2005 auction for $22k. I know the Fight4OldDC Staubach sold for considerably less.

Greatly overpaying for a 2000 Fleer Showcase Tom Brady PSA 10
