<< <i>If memory serves, those Peace Dollars pale in comparison to the material ArtR has, or had back in the day. His Peace Dollars were the only ones I've ever laid eyes on that had the type of toning that Morgan dollars can get. The one in the Heritage auction is just a very nice example of the light pastel rainbow that you find from time to time. >>
I agree, and thats why I bought it from him several years back.

Not any more.
So other than looking at that stunning 1873 proof dollar, what is the purpose of bumping such an old thread just to state "Last post"?
Always sad to see a great collector pass. My condolences to his friends and family.
I always wondered whatever happened to Lloyd. When did he pass and what happened do you know Washingtonrainbows?
My prayers and condolence to his family.

Sorry this was Lloyds last post nothing more I am still trying to find out how he passed.
I had many conversations with Lloyd, generally about silver dollars, and he was cool to chat with.
I was wondering what happened to him.....very sad.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
