even though i'm a Laker-fan, I gotta give this man credit, he truly deserves it more than anyone else (but Lakers will still beat his Spursimageimage)

    He does deserve it. He carried the Spurs the whole year to a very very good record in the west (tough tough division) The guy is amazing. He absolutely dominated Game 2 a few days ago. His only downfall was all his turnovers (that almost lost them the game). The guy is an absolute joy to watch. His uses the backboard like no one I've ever seen in the NBA.

    I live in AZ and was kind of hoping Kidd would win it but when I looked at Jersey's record. When I realized they only finished 11 games better than #8 seed Indiana did I changed my tune. Kidd had a great year but that whole team came together. Duncan is more of a class act too. I don't think the NBA wanted a convicted wife beater as their MVP.
    Looking for former University of Arizona NBA RC's in PSA or BGS 9's/GEM MINT grades. Die hard University of Arizona and Bay Area Sports fan.

    Thanks for the post, I'm sure you all get tired of my bragging on Tim, but I have been a fan of his since he came to the Spurs, and through good years and bad he is the player I most admire and respect on and off the court! So glad he has been recognized for all his hard work not only this year, but for all the years leading up to today.

    congrats to tim....he is a great player and deserves the award . since my pacers blew it again in the playoffs i have to root for the spurs so good luck tim and the spurs
