So I'm consigning for someone, actually more than one person, at the show I'm doing next Saturday. This is a person that played a huge role in my life growing up so I told him I wouldn't charge a percentage for sales. Today I pick up his stuff. It's not much, but I got home and opened the very old box and found so much cool stuff. 1956 Topps baseball, 1960 Topps baseball, a lot of Post Cereal cards, Exhibits, Yastrzemski rookie, Mantles, Aaron's, and lots more.

So tonight he calls me and says that he wants to give me something for all of my troubles. He told me to pick anything out of his collection and keep it for myself. So I decided to keep the 1960 Mantle, which is on my bucket list. Having fun going through all this stuff and I can't stop starring at the Mantle.

That is a really nice gesture and story indeed. Of the 60's sets, I most like the 1960 Topps version. Can we see a scan of the card?
