pricing on 88 topps football cello box?

Im thinking about buying a cello box on ebay, what is a reasonable price to pay?

Also, I know this may be considered "junk wax" but with the price increase of the PSA bo Jackson rc, is it safe to buy a box like this on ebay? I should note that the ebayer I'm thinking about buying one from has 100% positive feedback, (If that helps).

    Safe on ebay. Likely looked through for Bo top/bottom packs. Price is around $35 I think ?

    Is it me or are there a lot of these on ebay lately? My searches that pull up the 88 football cellos are somewhat new for me so I don't have a frame of reference but I was under the impression 1988 Topps football was harder to find than what available product suggests.

    I grabbed a bunch last year around $20 each. I see the lowest price right now is $40. Seems a little high for this set.

    About a year ago, there was a guy selling Topps football 1988 cello cases on Ebay. He had a couple wax but most were cello cases. It looked like he was the type of guy who bought storage units.
    He had all kinds of things for sale from books, glass items, clothing etc. You could see the storage unit in the pics.
    The football case listings did not have a year listed. He listed them as Topps football case or something like that. I was lucky enough to buy 2 cello cases and they went cheap.
    My guess is thats where most of the boxes showing on Ebay are coming from. He probably sold 6 to 8 cases , 1 at a time
