OT: Almost bit the dust tonight...

I was almost hit head on tonight by a car that was going at least 50-60 while I was not in motion. They weren't paying attention and yeah, I probably would not be typing this if they had hit me. They came so close that they scrapped the side of my car. I'm lucky to be alive tonight.

I know that some of us don't always agree when we're on here, but for those of you who have been my friends on here (you know who you are), I'm thankful for you.

Don't know you very well. Still, however, glad you're alive!

Too many people don't pay attention when they are driving. Thank God you are OK. Take life one day at a time and DON'T sweat the small stuff.
    STAY HEALTHY!

Crazy, some things we just cannot control, glad you are safe!!
  • Wow that must have been really scary. Glad to know you are still among us. This is a lesson for us all, there are no promised tomorrows. We should all act accordingly and be thankful for whatever we have.
Considering the alternatives, I bet that getting your vehicle fixed won't be all that bad of a deal.

  • I blame cell phones these days.

Thank God you are OK. I drove a delivery truck for almost 10 years and could not believe what I saw, cell phones are only part of the problem, people just don't take driving seriously. I saw so many stupid things, I still can't believe what I saw, I still think the worst was someone reading a paperback book while on the Interstate.

  • That'll reset your priorities. Think of it as house money. And make the most of another chance. Something like that makes you humble.
Glad you made it. Heart still racing I bet.
