There are people out there trying to sell 1 of 1 stampers where u can stamp(indent) your own card to make it a 1 of ____(whatever you want it to be)

for only $25 you get this really cheap machine...make sure you check with Beckett, Tuff Stuff etc. to see that the card mfg. did make 1 of 1's, etc....

Example: if you see a 1999 UpperDeck Century Legends Babe Ruth Card STAMPED 1 of 1, its FAKE....UD did not make variations of that card, much less a far limited one at all.

BE CAREFUL!

    It would seem like the machine itself would be "banned" or "illegal" since they know that these counterfeiters are doing this type of theft. Hmm...

    no, its like one guy i think just started his own business, its not an item you can find in WalMart, just be careful....

    1) see if the #d portion is not straight or tilted, thats the first sign,
    2) second sign to watch for if its suppose to have a hologram film underneath it like 00 fleer showcase legacy....

    Yeah, I have seen some of those auctions on ebay. Atleast I didn't see the bidding get too high on them.

    Yikes....well it always helps to look it up in a beckett to see if they list (Unpriced parallell serial #d to 1) I just posted up my Jagr masterpiece on another thread...know that one is real because it's got the gold foil and cut edges and the stamp looks like a UD stamp. You have any examples of the stamper? I do collect masterpieces and I'd be interested to see what they look like.

    check ebay under kurt warner autograph- ull see an auction for a 13/13- just check it out- ull know what i mean (isnt that the 2nd patch nfl we've seen??)

    vincecarder...the spam i rec'd did not have apicture of the stamper, he jsut said it was a hand held thing, the size of a single holepunch.....That would cost the cheapest thief $20, and he'd make up to $5,000 on a jordan auto #d 1/1 i am sure....

    Crap....guess I have to be extra careful now with these cards. Check out my Jagr masterpiece I'm selling. I showed it to a few people and they all said it was a legit 1/1. Guess the best thing to do is grade it and there would never be a question on it's authenticity.

    Nice Jagr card. The only 1/1 fake stamps I had seen had a wierd logo of a crown or something too. Wouldn't surprise me if there is a stamper that puts a perfect 1/1 on cards like the one you have on yours. Wouldn't be too hard to make one. To authenticate your 1/1 cards I would consider calling the card manufacture to see if they did issue the card.

    NOT A PROBLEM...JUST PLEASE BE CAREFUL...THE HAND #/D WITH A MARKER ARE ESPECIALLY SUSUPICIOUS....UNLESS ITS AN AUTOGRAPH CERTIFIED BY THE CARD MFG. ON THE BACK OF THE CARD.

    LMAO at bradley...they don't even take the time to counterfiet the 1/1, they just make the ridiculous claim and expect you to believe it.
