Was surprised my 86F baseball box went for this much

$114.50 plus shipping. Auction ended last night. A BBCE sealed 1986 fleer baseball wax box. Buyer paid right away so legit sale.

Was glad to get that but was expecting it to go in the $50 range.

Things even out though - I only got $10.50 plus shipping for a 1986 topps rack box lol - not BBCE sealed.

    I was actually watching your 86F Box auction and couldn't believe it!!!!! That is (or at least recently was) about a $35-40 box. I always expect a premium on the BBCE stuff, but I can't quite understand what happened with that auction. Your great fortune though.

    There were actually 5 bids over $75, 4 at $100 or more.

    I wonder why though...Christmas gift season? Or is there a low pop card people are chasing?

    I was watching that box too and was very surprised. Yesterday a 82 Donruss box sold for over $240. A couple other boxes went for way over what I expected. Doog71, I won a box from you a week or so ago.

    Yeah, something is odd about that 82D box that sold for $240. Same seller has them for sale for $109 BIN, but a bidder spends $240 for one??? Sales on those 82D boxes are all over the map...they have been selling for $60-200+ a box...very wide range.

    Ha, I think he means there are other sellers than BBCE that are legit that are selling these boxes.

    I hope I'm legit!
