I have some extra antonianinii I am looking to unload, and thought I would offer them here before dealing with Ebay. Free shipping on all orders under $100; feel free to make (reasonable) offers. Philip I AR Antoninianus. IMP PHILIPPVS AVG, radiate draped bust right / ROMAE AETERNAE, Roma seated left holding spear and Victory. RIC 65, RSC 171.
Some remaining lustre, particularly on the obverse, although this does have a planchet flaw or break over part of the face. Dorchester Hoard - SOLD
Trajan Decius AR Antoninianus. 249 AD. IMP C M Q TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG, radiate cuirassed bust right / VICTORIA AVG, Victory advancing left with wreath and palm. RIC 29c, RSC 113a.
Perhaps VF, a bit grimy - $25
Volusian AR Antoninianus. IMP CAE C VIB VOLVSIANO AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right / AEQVITAS AVGG, Aequitas standing left with scales and cornucopiae. RIC 166, RSC 8, Sear5 9740.
Nice EF, attractive - $100
Victorinus AE Antoninianus. IMP C VICTORINVS P F AVG, radiate, draped & cuirassed bust right / SALVS AVG, Salus standing right feeding serpent in arms. RIC 67, Cohen 112, Sear 11179.
Nice little coin in EF, with a sharp and fairly attractive obverse - $40
Vabalathus and Aurelian. AE Antoninianus. 271/272 AD. Antioch. VABALATHVS VCRIM DR, laureate, draped bust of Vabalathus right / IMP C AVRELIANVS AVG, radiate, cuirassed bust of Aurelian right. Officina letter S below. RIC 381. Cohen 1.
Perhaps VF, a better example of this type - $60
Tacitus Silvered AE Antoninianus. Ticinum, AD 275. IMP C M CL TACITVS AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right / CLEMENTIA TEMP, Emperor standing right holding sceptre, receiving globe from Jupiter (sometimes Mars) standing left, holding sceptre, S in ex. RIC 126, S, Cohen 19. Sear5 11770 (Mars).
In EF, with a good deal of remaining silvering, although a bit dirty as well... acetone may help this latter problem, although I haven't tried for fear of removing the silvering. $50
