1897-S Barber Quarter - NGC VF30 - $700 - This coin has obvious Extremely Fine Detail with full wing feathers to tips; bold, thick neck and claw feathers on the eagle and full shield horizontal and vertical definition. Obverse show all 13 obverse stars have 3 dimensionality and little to no wear. The upper and lower band above and beneath LIBERTY are deeply struck and full and bold. Plenty of forehead hair and an all around look of not much wear. Clearly net graded down as it has been stored in dank and damp conditions for some time resulting in the current look. Still eye appealing and a very difficult coin to locate in this condition.
