NEWP and a pleasant surprise.

Picked-up this beauty for my Mexico Milled Type Set. This coin is part of the transitional sub-series (1789-1790) where the portrait of the previous king Charles III was still being used with the legend of the new king Charles IV. Always wanted to have a nice attractive example of this type and when NEN listed it as part of their new inventory, I quickly pulled the trigger.
As a pleasant surprise, the coin was also TrueViewed sometime in the past.

For 1789 there was a III and IV, for 1790 there was a IV and IIII which is funny because all are Carlos III.
<< <i>She's a beaut (the coin), but not he (the king). >>

I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
And a big thumbs up to Chris at NEN for another easy international transaction.
