I've seen several tobacco cards graded SGC Auth that look like they should have a fairly high number grade. Does the Auth indicate the card was altered/trimmed (and therefore unable to receive a number grade) or could this be they were sent in for authentication only?

98 out of 100 times, the card is altered/trimmed.
