1986 Topps Football rack pack - any pattern/sequence to look for

I've read some thread on here where some of you mention the pattern/sequence of rack packs. Which ones might or might not have a certain card of value, in this case the Rice, Young or Smith rookies. So I was wondering if there is any sequence I should look for in 1986 or is this information confidential?, if it is I understand just thought I would ask. I have 10 rack packs that I fogot I had and came across them this weekend as I organizing my collection. Thought that I may rip a few if there is a good shot at pulling a good rookie. thanks Craig

If it were me, I'd rip them all, but I don't have much self control with unopened
<< <i>What will you do with the other racks if you do target the ones with the rookies and open them? >>
Sell them on here or Ebay. I have a major problem with doing something like this. In my opinion, it is no better that the guy that sits on the floor in Walmart/Target and feels up all the packs. I would not trust anyone that would even ask what the OP asked about.

Perfect analogy
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
<< <i>Not sure about 80s football racks, but sequencing for 70s/80s baseball is NOT guaranteed as to what cards you will find, only that it will be possible for a card to be found in said sequence. >>
That too. 86 Topps football was also similar to it's 86 baseball counterpart (mainly wax) in that the sequence often flipped regularly. So, no guarantee of consistent sequencing for more than 3 or 4 cards. However, you can tell in racks and cellos if the sequence flips.
