Old PCGS slab boxes

Always had interest in a few older style boxes. Up to this point it was always ,the BLUE box,the GREEN box OR the older style non plastic Rattler boxes , which are black and cardboard like material to my knowledge. NOW I stumbled upon Smokey Clear Black boxes that resemble the retro NGC style boxes in everyway. Having said that does anybody have any knowledge or thoughts on these?I have not read anything on them ,to my surprise.

    i saw one many years ago and the guy wouldnt part with it. i dont remember seeing one since. nice to see it again thou image

    Seem to recall they're used primarily internally with PCGS.

    I saw 6 of those boxes on ebay a week or 2 ago filled with the 1917-1928 Genuine Lincoln's. Inquired and they said all the boxes were cracked or chipped so passed on it.
