Just thought I'd share a set I recently put together. Below are the 4 denominations of the 'Banks of the St Lawrence' advertising note depicting the Victoria Bridge in Montreal (Vlack 4620 -4635). The reverse for all notes is identical and display some of the engineering statistics and listings of hotels / attractions. Part of the Grand Trunk Railway system, the Victoria Bridge was completed in 1859 and was the longest bridge in the world. The deck, over which trains traveled, was formed with a metal tube - according to the back of these notes the tube measured 22' high and 16' wide at the center of the bridge.
Interestingly, Sage Sons & Co also used the Victoria Bridge vignette on the $50 issue for Ames' Business College in Syracuse, NY (Schingoethe NY-2550-50). I've not identified any other notes utilizing the same vignette.
