need ebay resolution help

Hi Guys,

First off, I already won the resolution. I purhcased a fairly expensive rookie card on ebay. After a week, I did not receive the card. I sent a message via ebay asking for tracking info. I get info showing he just ordered the shipping to be done. A week later, it was still in the same status. So I sent another message, he gave no response. I opened a resolution on ebay, he never responded to me or ebay. They sent me back my money. I am not sure exactly when, but between one and two weeks later, the card arrives. It is a fake. I already have a couple of these cards, one PSA 7, and this is obviously one that looks like it was a copy. The skin tone is not there, it is gray like it was a xerox copy. I went back to the listing, and it is the same card in the listing.

The card was purhcased on Oct 10th, and he just now sent me a message wondering if I am sending the card back. What do I do? Do I contact ebay? I really do not want this guy to get the card back and try to sell it to someone else. He has to know it is a fake or he would not have sent it after already losing the case.

I would love to hear some advice,

you got refunded its not yours send it back. Otherwise its pretty much stealing. Its not your decision .

Brian ... since you were refunded the money you have an obligation to send it back. HOWEVER, if he puts it back up on eBay, you may want to report the item and let eBay know he is selling a fake. Hope all is well.

Thanks guys. I will send the card back. I hate all the fakes out there, and my knee jerk response is to make sure nobody else gets taken from this guy.

Take a Sharpie, write his name and address on the card, put a stamp on it and put it in the mail.
