1989 FRANCE GOLD Coin 500 Francs Olympics

I have the option to buy one of those in an air tite just the proof coin(no box or packaging) from a local jewelry shop connection that buys gold. I know the approximate melt value is 620 something dollars in just gold, with the low mintage it must have some premium. Not sure what to buy this at as I would be looking to resell, any help for a newb is appreciated. I have included a pic below of what an example of the coin looks like. Thanks in advance
