This works best if you go to my web site, register and use the "make an offer" button.

This is a Bid/Buy variety sale. You can place a bid and you can either ask to buy it at that bid or your bid will be held until the sale closes. The sale closes on Rick's birthday, 12-11-13

Where it says "Price on Request", I am looking for an opening bid. The other prices are the next bid. If you have a question, just PM me.

Well struck. Bright and flashy. Some light specks on the reverse.

1857 Obv. style of 1856 Snow-2 MS-64 PCGS (PS) Price on Request
Well struck with just a few light marks. These were struck from dies prepared for the 1856 Flying Eagle but left undated until 1857. A very popular sub-type of the Flying Eagle series.

1857 Obv. style of 1856 Snow-2 MS-64+ PCGS (PS) CAC $1,100
Attractive example with a honey gold tone. These were struck with dies made with the 1856 hub which is slightly different from the regular 1857 dies. The most obvious difference is the squared O in OF.

1857 Snow-11 MS-63 PCGS (PS) CAC Price on Request
This is a very scarce repunched date. Presently third finest known. The repunching is very wide below the date, almost into the denticles. A few light marks are visible by the date, but it is very choice everywhere else on the coin.

1857 Snow-16 MS-64 PCGS (PS) Price on Request
Fully struck with a beautiful gold tone. It is very lustrous. This variety has two dates punched into the eagles neck. It is very bold on this example. This is a very popular variety.

1857 Snow-8 25c Rev. Clash AU-53 PCGS (PS) $225

1858 Large Letter Snow-13 MS-60 ANACS Price on Request
A very rare doubled die with doubling on the UNI in UNITED to the SW and on the ICA of AMERICA to the SE! This is the discovery coin and is still the only one known. It is fully struck. There is a slight evidence of cleaning, which accounts for the grade.

1858 Large Letter Snow-8 MS-64 NGC (PS) $600
Fully struck with a bold doubled die on the legend, mostly on UNITED. Some light marks on the reverse. This is a scarce doubled die with only a few examples known. This obverse is known with both a Low Leaf (S6) reverse and the High Leaf (S8) reverse. This the finest of both variety listings.

1858/7 Snow-1 Unc. Early Die State, full strike Price on Request
It is the earliest die state even seen and also shows a full strike. Very rare as such. There are hardly any contact marks, but the coin has some light hairlines indicative of a light past cleaning. Too bad. If it were not cleaned it would be a MS64 (and $25,000) coin. The coin is in a PCGS genuine holder due to the cleaning. I net grade it to an actual grade of MS62.

1858/7 Snow-7 AU-58 NGC (PS) Price on Request
A full strike example with a boldly visible overdate. This is much scarer overdate than the widely-known S1. It shows a 1 to the left of the date and a 7 to the right.

A very rare overdate with only about 25 examples known. In addition to the remnants of a 7 to the right of the 8, an extra 1 is also visible to the left of the 1. It is a bold doubled die too. This example is fouth finest known. Ex: Davidoff collection.

1859 Snow-2 MS-64 NGC (PS) $825
A popular repunched date. Slight weakness on the bust point. Light golden toning. Later die state with the die crack on the reverse.

1864 With L Snow-22 MS-65RB NGC (PS) Price on Request

1865 Fancy 5 Snow-1a MS-62BN NGC (PS) Price on Request
The very scarce "1865/4 digit punch". This example is fully struck and shows the details clearly. There are a few light spots, which is to be expected with the grade assigned.

1865 Fancy 5 Snow-2 DDR AU-50 PCGS (PS) $1,045

Full strike with outstanding surfaces. Totally mark free. This is the finest graded example with no others in RB or RD. Very lustrous and flashy. 1872 Shallow N VG-10 PCGS (PS) $110
Scarce. A great addition to a circulated registry set.
