mickey mantle and don mattingly auto questions

ive had this mantle/mattingly signed plaque for a few years now....it has no coa but looks spot on to me...plaque is a bit rough but the signatures look decent and authentic...id like others opinions on this...what is something like this worth? what would it cost to authenticate it? any info would be appreciated

Need better scans. Generally speaking any Mantle is worth getting authenticated if you are thinking of selling it.

The Mantle is no good IMO

I think you can send the piece to PSA and they will issue an opinion for $150. Only do this if you plan on selling.

However, I don't think they'll pass it, and if that's the case you just flushed $150 down the drain.

That is literally the shakiest Mantle fake I've ever seen. It's like they signed it in the car. On a gravel road. At night.

lol i bought this at a local pawnshop a few years back...talked them down to $75....what a deal!(note the sarcasm) a big thanks to you fellow board members as i wont be sending this one in for authentication

You should DEFINITELY do that! Do you have the receipt from when you purchased the item? It would be GREAT for him to say he didn't want the item because it was "NO GOOD" ... and then you pull out the receipt! LOL

I am trying to get a feel for the room. I have no idea if the stuff I just posted about photographs in the "Photo help needed - Ruth, Gehrig, Dimaggio" thread is old hat or helpful!
