What's the scoop on hobo nickels? I remember years and years ago a society being formed. Some of them have sold for hundreds of dollars? This one is neat for the cat people

That Hobo is called "If the Shoe Fits" by Howard Thomas in 2013 and is currently on eBay.

eBay has number of other elaborate Hobos - just search for "hobo" in the coins category. It seems like a number of the new carvers are all part of the Original Hobo Nickel Society (OHNS) and post their OHNS RM number on their auctions.. Some named artists include "mrthe" Curcio, Jay L. DeBoer, Blanca de la Hoz, Tony Lewis, Gediminas Palsis, John Schipp, Howard Thomas, Pedro Villarrubia.

It's a neat part of the hobby and, as above, some of the coins are very elaborate.
