the mint mark is what drew my attention along with what seems to be uneven wear on both sides. Is it just me or are the rims also thicker than normal?

The mintmark appears to be position 1. Knowing the die rotation would be very helpful. My
best guess is that it is genuine.

I think it's good, but it's hard to say for sure from the pics. I'd need close-ups of the MM to feel comfortable buying it.

With magnification of the photo, I too would say it looks like Die 1.

The photos are not good enough for me to gamble my money but I do not see any obvious signs that it is a fake.
