Where to submit pattern coin for metallurgical test: NGC or NCS ??

I have an NGC-slabbed pattern coin I want to have metallurgical test done on it. Where do I submit it -- to NGC or to NCS?? - - - - -or does it matter?

    I believe NGC does that. I need to check through some of my old PMs, because a few years ago, I was looking for the same thing and someone gave me some information on it.

    NGC does that but FYI that only if the item is not what is expected (ie an error) will they note the composition on the holder insert.

    If the composition is as expected they simply write up a letter and include it with the package sent back to you.

    As noted above it is a pattern coin.
