Another guess the grade

I am going to submit these 2 cards to PSA, as they actual cards from my childhood collection. What grades does everyone think these will pop?

A 1985 Topps Eric Davis rookie and a 1984 Topps Traded Dwight Gooden:

Both very nice. Davis has a shot at 10 IMHO and the Gooden is a 9. It looks a tad o/c top to bottom. Good luck!!!

print dots will keep the Davis from getting a 10

Both 9's but both have the centering for 10's IMO. Depends on the corners and surface quality

The surfaces are clean and corners sharp on both cards.

9's at best. Centering and edges along w/ surface will cap it.

Fish eyes on the Davis (hat) keeps it from a 10. T-B centering on Gooden makes it a 9.

7.5 Davis, 8 Gooden. Hope they grade higher though!

OUCH!!! You don't by chance work for PSA do you? I'm thinking maybe you've graded some of mine before.

I'd say 9's on both. In the Davis scan the upper right corner appears to be "not so sharp" but I'm taking your word for it that it is.

two 9s but could be 10s its hard sometimes with scans. they are blown up and any thing is exaggerated.

In order to get opinions on 10s, you need to provide a scan of the reverse. They need to be 75-25 centered or better for a 10.

Both 9s. Gooden maybe an 8 with the OPC cut on a Topps card. In other words, they are worth less than the cost of submission.

My humble opinion:

Davis: 8
Gooden: 9

Isn't a ad o/c allowed for 10 grades

I don't get what's wrong with centering... Within limit of 10'in my calculation
