Anyone know anything about these cards? I just picked up my first one and wondered if anyone else collects these? I think I'm gonna go for PSA 8's.

I collect them, but my set has reached a point that I can't find any more upgrades. One of my favorite sets. Hall of Famers, with nice colorized pictures, and nice bios with stats on the back.

A complete set in PSA 8 is quite affordable too.

I seem to recall several threads about this set in past years.

Great set. Very affordable in 8s. Good luck.

    Thanks,

buy the unpunched book... its the cheapest way to buy the set
very common 'set' and was for many years a 'dog' at card shows because its really a book of punchout 'cards' full of noncontemporary players.... but now has some age so interest in the slab card hype, especially those wanting a prewar HOFer for a couple dollars...
