You just need to wait for a free casino (or similar) signing, or his occasional paid signing appearances. Supposedly he just signed a contract with WWE so he will probably be doing some promos somewhere

Or else just buy one already signed, there are plenty out there although they aren't exactly cheap. As a matter of fact I've got one if you want to buy it already slabbed and authenticated by PSA/DNA. Has some pinkish spotting as you can see faintly in the scan, otherwise, pretty nice, and centered relatively well

I am not surprised at all that Hulk and his people got hip to this item. First it was the signed belts and this was destined to be second.

When I got a few signed last year at the grand opening of Hogan's Beach Shop he wasn't exactly thrilled to sign them. I asked him if he knew that is was his rookie card and he said yes. He knew that I showed up with the most valuable items to be signed that day. I felt like Hogan thought of me as more a profit seeker then a fan.

Most of the major athletes eventually want more money to sign rookie cards and it was only a matter of time.

250 though ? thats a bid crazy for that card , crazy price in my eyes.

and why does this matter what you get signed. He should be happy other people get to enjoy his awesomeness and Hulkamania still runs wild

I am not suggesting the price is fair. I agree it is to high. He started charging like $500 to sign belts so I am just not shocked.

All of these guys once they start getting paid to sign and have others in their ear want more of the potential profit.

  • yeah 500 to sign a belt wow , nuts !

I wonder how much it cost to do a private signing , who wants to hire him with me ?

That must be one of the most expensive actor signing fees?

Close to it. Stallone just did a signing at New York Comic Con for $400 per. Sigourney Weaver about about $180.

Hogan in general can be had for much less. $50 in many cases.

  • Somebody needs to whip him into the ropes for the big boot, and drop the leg on him for asking that much to sign a card.

When you show up with multiples of the same item, an athlete would be hard-pressed to think of you as anything OTHER than a profit seeker. Not saying you are but that's sure the impression you're giving in that case.

Sounds like a waste of money to me but to each his own.

I can understand this point of view. I got him to sign my magazine with his card in it and explained very briefly that I collect the cards. I still have all three and the other four I got done when he signed at American Icon in CA.

I do not understand why you or anyone else have to explain , why do they think they should get a piece of something you own and they are signing anyways. They get paid to be there and to sign stuff. They get paid by the fans and collectors for a lot of things.

They should be happy to do so. Greed thats all it is .

Maybe he would sign it for a much cheaper fee at a different venue? I sure hope that is not across the board now as I would like to get a few more of these signed myself.

Shatner is normally at or just uinder $100. That $500 was probably the VIP package with a boat load of extra stuff and possible a meet and greet event.
