Obtaining Will Clark Auto?

I've got a 14" x 11" drawing of Will Clark I received from my father years and years ago as a gift, and I wanted to get it signed and give it to my sister who is a huge, long time Giants fan as a Christmas present. Is there any shot at me getting it signed and ready for this Christmas? I've done some searches for upcoming autograph shows but I don't see any with Will involved.

Any insight would be great. I could get an autographed cards (there are tons on eBay), but I thought getting this one signed and framed would be much nicer.

Thanks.

He seems to be a pretty decent signer TTM with about a month turnaround time, BUT remember that your mileage may vary and sending through the mail is always a risky proposition. If you go that route, send it to the Giants address and they seem to forward it to him in Louisiana as that's where the returns are postmarked. You can get the Giants address online with a google search.

If your piece is too sentimental for you to send that way, you might try getting someone to make you a laser copy of it and send out the laser copy for signing, and then both you AND your sister can have a copy.

When I used to graph the Rangers in the 90's, Will was a neat guy. He'd sign ONE piece a year for me (my team piece), BUT he was a nice guy and would chat with me, and toward the end of the year, if there were other players I still needed for my team piece, he would ask me who I still needed and he would help me out by sending them over. He always recognized the regular graph seekers and he knew if he had signed for you before or not. Neat guy.

About 6 months ago I sent 2 cards to him via the Giants (I believe). I received them both back in a month with a great signature on them. As mike said, if the item is not all that sentimental go ahead and send it otherwise you might want to send maybe a rookie card or two and have it signed to your sister and frame those with the art piece you have.
I am on a budget and I am not afraid to use it!!

Thanks for the replies. I may go ahead with the copy idea and send that off. It's a black and white drawing so it shouldn't be too difficult to get a good replica done, I'll send it off see what happens.

    Thanks again!
