Cool, or ghoul... making a custom cut-auto card for a deceased relative...

title says it all. Is it weird, or a neat way for a card collector to honor his family?

I was actually talking about this with my wife a few months back. My dad passed away last year and although I don't have the skills to do it right, I thought it would be neat to take one of my dad's signatures from old documents we cleaned up from his office and encapsulate a small amount of his ashes and include a photo. To take it a step further, I talked about doing that but also having a similar card with space to add my ashes after I died!! A dual father/son card. You can take that in all sorts of directions with a larger family as well. I have 2 brothers and a sister so the possibilities are numerous. Who would want this but family? Nobody, but I think it would be a really cool way for a family to memorialize someone.
I collect Steve Garvey, Dodgers and signed cards. Collector since 1978.
