Small 18mm bronze medal (Swiss?) ID needed

Found this little one amongst a small collection of random late 1800s/early 1900s coins. Looks kind of like a shooting medal and I am thinking the mostly blank reverse was meant to be engraved? Quite a high relief considering it's small size, reminds me of some ancient coins image

    More likely French, I think. A rendition of Marianne.

    Agree looks French and, given the Art Nouveau style of Marianne, most likely pre WWI and maybe pre 1900. Probably some sort of privately produced award or souvenir medal which could be engraved as appropriate on the reverse. One of the smaller ones of these I've seen.
    Always interested in St Louis MO & IL metro area and Evansville IN national bank notes and Vatican/papal states coins and medals!
