Average weight of a regular card

Does anyone know the average weight of a regular baseball card...no auto, jersey, etc.? Thanks!

For real? I don't have a *digital* scale, but it took me 14 1989 Fleer cards to equal 1 ounce, which means each one is about 2 grams.

You are probably right. Maybe my scale doesn't weigh something that light very accurately. But you make sense, because looking back at what I wrote it does not seem to be correct. I said just under 400 cards weighs 8 pounds ... can't be true, because that is about 1/2 the size of a modern day set. If that were true, a set of cards would weigh 16 friggin pounds! Thanks for correcting me.

5 quarters weigh exactly 1 ounce. A roll of quarters is exactly 8 ounces.
