There's only 1 Numismatics.com . I remember an acquaintance had domains and sold one of them to a Canadian guy for what he thought was a lot of money, ( it was 6 figures ). I could be wrong about this part but it became Thailand.com I think and it resold for 3 Million ( USD ). Around that time I was trying to buy a neighboring countries url for a lot less as the people who owned it were losing their business in the country but again a Canadian bought it. I think Heritage could become the number 1 in this area pretty easily as they have the online presence that nobody else quite has.

Hey - I saw it first!
Coin Rarities Online
So they sold their domain name and opted for the present ha.com.? I've always wondered
why and just thought it was easier to type ha.com then heritage.com.
Or am I completely missing the point of the OP?
ihatemywife.com
has not been capitalized on.

Yes, the point of the thread is Heritage is doing an auction of domain names. This has nothing to do with the heritage.com (or ha.com or heritagecoins.com) domains.

uhhhh, the time was about 10 years ago. Every incarnation of 2, 3, 4, 5 character domains has been registered. Find one, and you can build a whole company around it.

haven't been to AV in years, FB in months and yp is used sometimes and sometimes not, so maybe weeks or months. YP and Google try to be too intelligent with their search, I'd rather grab a paper copy of the YP if available. I once searched for some bank and one of the hits was on Jos. A. Bank. lame. I only need results for that specific bank, thank you.
