PCGS Ancients

I guess PCGS does not do ancient coins? Does anyone know the cutoff era that they will slab? I have a PCGS coin from William I (1066ish). What is the oldest they will slab?

I suggest you post this question on the World & Ancient Coins Forum; they're used to dealing with pre-18th century material.

I think right around there is the limit. But a better chance for an answer is probably by posting this over on the World Coins forum.
    When in doubt, don't.

PCGS slabbed a couple ancients a while ago but does not have an ancients program today. Here's one (not my coin) but I've personally only seen a handful versus NGC who is the primary slabber today:

Dates vary by country. The best way of knowing is to check the population page for the country you are interested in.
