Would PSA give this 1976 Brett a PD qualifier?

Sorry I haven't figured out the link thing yet. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1976-Topps-George-Brett-HOF-19-BVG8-BVG-/230791498142?pt=US_Baseball&hash=item35bc3ec99e

Wondering if the smudge in the "R" in "Royals" would automatically give this card a "PD" qualifier.

I know it's a common issue with this card...anyone have a PSA graded 1976 Topps Brett that has this printing issue?

    linky

I'd say yes. The snow plus the ugly R in Royals is just too much.

PWCC is listing one or two PSA 8's in his current auction though....

    Definitely. Too much snow.

Thanks Mike. Are those upcoming auctions? I didn't see those.

Yep - give it an hour or so. He is listing 1966-1984 tonight. I am pretty I sure I saw one or two in there while perusing the "upcoming".

Thank you. Any idea what I would expect to pay for a centered PSA 8 of this card?

Looks like it is a 7 and an 8 going up tonight.

I think a nice 8 can be had for $200 - or a little more for one with less snow. Good luck.

Yes, a PD qualifier or lower grade if NQ was specified.

    Thanks,
