Hi All
Ive been a high grade collector of the 1973 Topps Football set for 30 years now, and over the years I have accumulated a vast amount of cards in my never ending quest for the perfect set.
The 73 Set, like most all of the Topps issues from the decade offers its own challenge due to the lack of quality control at the time.
Centering, print flaws are among the most common problems one can expect to encounter with the 1973 Topps set.
One of the more unique flaws that I commonly see with the 73 set is what I call "Ghost Spots" These are print flaws that create white surface spots that are hard to see unless under good lighting.
Today I have a very nice and clean Near Mint complete Set to offer.
It has some typical hit and miss centering, but overall I believe you would be hard pressed to find much better centering on a NM set. Surely none of the overstated ebay or dealer sets are going to match it.
The cards are sharp with nice clean original surfaces. There are a handful of cards with wax on the back(all are noted in the scans)
Overall the set breaks down :
10% EXMT or less (This includes the wax stain cards)
80% NM or better
10% NM-MT
Also included with the set is a Complete set of the Team Checklists. While all have been marked, They're actually
in pretty nice shape on the corners and Centering.
So let's take a look at the set as I have scanned every card. They are in numerical order #1-#528
Right out of the gate with some very nice leader cards.
Ok, we're up to the first 60 cards in the set. I also have this same set posted over on the net54 message board and
the question was asked if the set was all in the card savers. It is NOT, I use the card savers to protect when scanning and it
helps me keep the scans nice and straight. The set is contained and will ship in a 660 ct padded box.
please feel free to asking any questions. I really enjoy showing the set and additional scans are not a problem
if you would like a closer look a any of the cards.
I'll will return to post the next 60 cards in the set tommorrow.
Thanks for looking and have a GREAT day!

There you have the next 60 cards in the set.
As you can see it is a very nice set. Nice color and card surface with very minimal print flaws.
Stay tuned for the next 60 cards in the set
Thanks for looking!
Very nice Len Dawson
More to Come!
Very Nice Bob Kucehenberg Rookie
Nice Hall of Famers Ted Hendricks and Bobby Bell
Lets continue and see some more of it.
There you have it! All 528 cards in the 1973 Topps Football Set
First $350 Pay-Pal gig
I will be back with the Team Checklists Set that is also included
Yes it is a pretty darn nice set. Perfect? NO, but I don't believe any ebay or dealer set will compare.
I really enjoyed showing the set. If nobody has interest here, I'll either put it up on ebay for $400
or possibly break it up and list singles in my Unisquare store. Most people would break it up.
At $2.00 a card it brings $400 selling only 200 cards, Thats less than half the set. I just thought
I would offer someone a chance at a nice NM set.
or Maybe I'll just hang on to it. We'll see
Im only counting 24 here. thought I had all 26. will have to recheck the set
in my UNISQUARE Store. I will be adding 100's more cards as time permits.
ALL AMERICAN HOBBIES UNISQUARE STORE
Take care
John
Just upgraded 5 of the lower grade cards in the set including the Emmitt Thomas that had a hairline on it.
Very nice set, btw.
